I'm Ahmed, a medical doctor and research scientist. I love research and teaching besides neuroscience. I'm frequently recognized for revolutionizing medical research among students and trainees in Egypt since 2014.

In my spare time, I occasionally give courses, lectures, and workshops to medical trainees and doctors to build their research capacity.

🏆 My Story

I Started doing clinical research in my 2nd year in medical school at Zagazig University, Egypt by collaborating with external investigators from the UK, Asia, Australia, the US, and Europe.

Six years later, I have co-authored and published +130 research publications, 50 conference abstracts, and 2 international book chapters, with +5000 citations and an H-index of 35. I had the highest H-index for a medical trainee in my country's history, Egypt.

I have completed a PhD from the University of Portsmouth (UK) and 3 research fellowships in Bahcesehir University (Turkey), Harvard Medical School (MA, US), and currently in the Department of Neurology at Virginia Commonwealth University.
